My Bunting~

So after a much time spent on my Pixie Hats I decided to give bunting a go, this is how it went..

I chose 2 shades of purple, pink and white. Started simply with 40 stitches and decreased down to 2. Dolly mix kept me company and off I went..

My first bunter…

Right that was simple enough now to get creative and alternate the pattern. I have never knitted wit so many strands at the same time.

This is my second bunter..

It got so exciting after that I couldn’t tangle the camera into the mix so I’ll just show you the finished bunting~

Now I’ve decided to give the Cardi another try~

Candy’s Cardi~

So I’d knitted my first Cardi and so wasn’t pleased that I’ve yet to finishing sewing it up. I’m ready to give it another go..

It helps that white has been replaced with the pinky purple colour tieing it all together nicely I thought. Here is how I added the sleeves.

Sitting back admiring what I just created.

Now to add the collar.

Feeling very proud and will publish my new pattern soon but first I need to design my new cardi a matching hat and booties 🙂

Need to find matching buttons but thinking the roses work well. Your thoughts?

I’m liking~

My first attempt~

My Pixie Hat~

So I’m feeling quite proud of myself. Introducing the new member of the Tiny Treasure family..

The Pixie Hat

So my first Pixie hat was knitted for my “niece” Amelie. “Not really but could have been”. Turns out I made it for a really small baby probably a new born. With 2 God children on the way knowing one was a girl and having made the middle hot pink set for her, hoped my other God child would be healthy as well as a girl~

Turns out she is a little girl and she will be called Lyndsay-Sue, so this is for you Princess.

I made a larger set in Pink for Amelie.

I then received an Etsy order for Pink, Purple and White.

Still feeling very proud of my trio~

I have since made a set in blue and love the all so much had to hang them till they all went to their families 😉

I’ve so thoroughly enjoyed that I thought I’d try some bunting. My flat mate had heard it suggested and passed it onto me.

Check out my bunting blog for more info.

Knitted Flowers~

I recently googled knitted flower patterns and found a language I did not understand so I designed my own and would like to share it with you. Got lots of other patterns to share so feedback is appreciated before I possibly waste my time.

I used double knitting on 3.25m needles. Alter size of flower with thicker/thinner needles/wool.

I knit all 5 petals at the same time from separate mini balls of wool. Each petal needs between 2 to 2.5m of wool.

CO – Cast on
K – Knit
P – Pearl
KFB – Knit forward and back into stitch to increase 1 stitch
K2T – Knit 2 together
P2T – Pearl 2 together
