Knitted Flowers~

I recently googled knitted flower patterns and found a language I did not understand so I designed my own and would like to share it with you. Got lots of other patterns to share so feedback is appreciated before I possibly waste my time.

I used double knitting on 3.25m needles. Alter size of flower with thicker/thinner needles/wool.

I knit all 5 petals at the same time from separate mini balls of wool. Each petal needs between 2 to 2.5m of wool.

CO – Cast on
K – Knit
P – Pearl
KFB – Knit forward and back into stitch to increase 1 stitch
K2T – Knit 2 together
P2T – Pearl 2 together

Tread wool back through stitch creating a tight knot and trim, leave at least 1mm.
Sew the petals together and add a large button!

If you would like to add some leaves you can knit a large petal in green.

  1. Do you have a shop on Etsy? I would love to see it! I am working on getting mine a little more organized with more of a focus. I am designing my packaging and stuff. You are a good knitter. I am trying to learn but I am much better at crochet. Probably because that is what my mom taught me when I was little! I like your blog! I will be reading it 😉

  2. Hey I recently added a few pics to floxi I think it was, need to check out Etsy! My granny taught me to knit. I was give some crochet needles and took out a book, battling a bit!! I loved your blog and was planing on reading more of it today! Gonna find where I uploaded some items.
